Fire Detection and Signaling System

At DO SECURITY, we work with dedication and promptness for your safety. For more than 20 years, we have undertaken the mission of designing systems and solutions aimed at protecting people, property and goods. Our experience has shown us time and time again that all of these can be lost most easily in the event of a fire. Our area of expertise also includes designing and implementing fire detection and signalling systems.

Our fire detection, signalling and warning systems are designed as a whole to detect and signal, in the shortest possible time, the occurrence of a fire in protected spaces, simultaneously alerting personnel and fire brigades. Our DO FIRE service completes the services for preventing and extinguishing fires as a private fire service.

Our fire detection and signalling systems ensure::

  •  detection of fires both on the traffic routes for the regular operation of the buildings and, above all, in the auxiliary spaces and rooms, as well as in those rooms where the fire could develop freely without being noticed on time;
  •  announcing the fire at the permanent surveillance point, automatically and/or by manual alarm triggers and indoor telephones, as well as, as the case may be, at the fire department (DO FIRE Service);
  •  operative alerting of the personnel in charge, who must organize the first intervention and evacuation of users following the established action plans;
  •  warning the building occupants about the danger of fire and sending messages to avoid panic.

Elements that consist of our fire detection, signalling and warning systems are as follows:

  •  fire detectors
  •  control and signalling equipment
  •  fire alarm devices
  •  manual alarm triggers
  •  fire alarm transmission device
  •  fire alarm reception station
  •  control system of automatic fire protection systems
  •  fire protection equipment
  •  fault signal transmission device
  •  fault signal reception station
  •  power supply equipment
  •  elements for connection
  •  one or more autonomous smoke alarm devices.

For the design of fire detection and the signalling system, we take into account factors such as the risk of fire, the type of building, the category of the importance of the construction and the parameters to be monitored (inside temperature, smoke, emission of dangerous or explosive gases, flame).

We design:

  •  Conventional systems intended for small spaces;
  •  Addressable systems. These are complex systems intended for large spaces, which allow the exact identification of the element in alarm, having multiple interconnected functions for the extinguishing installations so that they can automatically trigger the extinguishing installation (with sprinklers, foam or gases).

Why choose a DO SECURITY fire detection and signalling system?

  •  We configure fire detection and signalling systems according to the European Standard EN54 dedicated to fire alarm and signalling systems. DO SECURITY is an authorized company, so we have the necessary competence to install these systems. All our fire alarm systems are made according to the specifications included in the design plan.
  •  We have expertise in the design of detection and alarm systems. This stage is critical and represents the basis of the entire fire alarm system. If the system is not configured correctly, false alarms can occur or, in the worst case, the system will not accurately detect a fire or at all.
  •  We put the system into operation and put it to the test. First, we check that the system meets the design specifications and drawings, that the wiring meets the regulations, and it is safe. The last and most crucial stage is the commissioning of the system. Our staff is trained to verify the entire system's functionality and validate it as safe and adequate to achieve its purpose.
  •  We provide maintenance: DO SECURITY is a company authorized to maintain the fire detection and alarm systems it implements. We perform system maintenance according to regulations every six months or more often if the objective has a high-risk class.
